Rebecca Rhodes, one of our six Student Thunder missionaries to Trinidad makes a plea for prayer and shares about the mission:

Hey every one or should eye say the faithful few! lol its a joke! SO i need ALL of your prayers, well not me but the church here in Trinidad! they are so confused, its like thely are bein lead in a colt and not in Gods word! It truly breaks my heart. The kids and teens are so confused because us missionaries are telling them one thing when the pastor is telling them another! The pastor actually asked us to use the Bible less in our lesson! He even scheduled a puppet show for Friday, which cut our time short, which meant we didn't get everything in! It truly breaks my heart. then the puppet show was making fun of various things about going to Hell! And the kids were laughing. Well some happy news is that we're all doin very well! We have made great relationships with our host and family and with the childrens music minister at the church. One of the little boys in our host family, named Jaseme is going to be having surgery in Oct. so pray for him. Then the childrens music min!
ister, Lendon, his wife left him. Hes a really good guy and you can tell God is using him, so pray for him as well!
BY THE WAY WE WATCHED KUNG FU PANDA TONITE!! it was good SO any ways thats about all i have for now! Take care, I love you all and may God bless!

By the way if you don't like KFC you should go to Trinidad, it's really good here, if you LOVE good beaches you should go to Trinidad, If you love mountains you should go to Trinidad, and if you love to have a good time you should go to Trinidad

Here's another report from Rebecca Rhodes, one of our six Student Thunder missionaries to Trinidad:

So today was amazing! two little girls got saved!!! party in heaven! for your prayers specifically please pray for our attitudes. there is a church we are working in that doesn't want us to present a long gospel presentation but would rather us do more drama and games and crafts. we got a little fust at by them! it was very difficult to not loose our temper with them.God did provide a way of relaxation afterward though. A man named bobby took us to the beach named Maracus where we ate bake and shark. it is the best food i have had since i have been here! There were so many fish in that part of the ocean that when you were swimming you feel the fish hit your legs! thankfully there are NO sharks or jelly fish! Our host family is so nice! Infact if it wasn't for them i wouldn't be talking to you now! any ways i have a TON of pics that i will be puting on facebook when i get home! tomorrow marks the ten day mark for being in Trinidad, then we will be back in Missouri for!
1-3 days! i love being here, but i must admit i miss the US! Exspecially Missouri and SC! When i first arrived to missouri, i couldn't stand it!!! but within a matter of hours everyone felt like family! Thoughs of you in CEF, I STRONGLY encourage you to do Student Thunder next year, if only to go to Missouri, God will strecth you and work in your heart in ways you never thought! I love God, isn't He so amazing! He knows everything before it ever happens!!!Any way, i hope to hear from you ALL! it helps to keep the homesickness away!

Here's a report from Rebecca Rhodes, one of our six Student Thunder missionaries to Trinidad:

hey everyone from trinidad! it is amazing here! the people are great, the island is small, the temperature is comfuratable (except at night, the host family turns the air down to about thirty degrees) and the people are so kind. I must admit i miss you all! The food is very diffrent. Yesterday we had doubles (kind of like a chalupa from taco bell but more moist). Today we had goat meat, mangos in curry, chicken in curry, and pumpkin. we are not supposed to drink the water here because it could make us sick. well i almost got sick today! We visited two hindu temples and one catholic church. Yesterday we went on a ship calle LogosII, we were drafted to do puppets for the kids. All of us would be very greatful if you would keep us in your prayers! Culture shock is TERRIBLE...i have already experienced some. the first day we arrived, i was the random check person. that was fine and i went outside...then two police officers came out and said that i had meds in my bag and that the police
officer said i couldnt leave, that was the moment i was dreading. One of the police officers was kind, but the other was hateful. Once they told me they had mistaken me for someone else a wave of relief flew over me and began to shed some tears. That made the first night very hard for me! it is getting better, we are making friends and enjoying doing Gods work. Please be praying and I love you and miss you all. May God go with you!

Read Genesis 39:41!!

In trinidad you don't say hanging out you say liming. So im going liming tonight!!!
