Le Mans has nothing on the great trolley parade that’s about to hit the streets of London on Friday 14th September at Westminster Kingsway College, Vincent Square. It’s time to show the world a clean pair of heels (and wheels) in the race to grab the Springboard Slingsby Challenge Cup.
The hospitality industry and the education sectors are joining forces to ‘have a bit of fun’ said Sam Coulstock, Customer Relationship Director at Springboard. “Slingsby’s are providing the trolleys and The Hyatt Regency London - The Churchill, and Profile Recruitment are right behind the event, aimed at raising money for the Springboard Charitable Trust, which helps attract young, unemployed and disadvantaged people into our industry.”
“The Westminster Kingsway College students will be helping out and we are expecting a bumper number of entries. People will be back from holiday and ready for a bit of a laugh, this will be the place to be seen on Friday 14th.”
Teams will be given time in the morning to tune their trolleys and decorate them to their heart’s desire before setting out on a parade around Vincent Square. Prizes will be awarded for the best decorated trolley and team uniforms, trolley navigating skills, style, courtesy, and charm.

Christian Slingsby has been marvellous, immediately responding positively to our request to sponsor the Trolleys from his company, whose name is so well known by all in our Industry.”
