  Sonic Speed Zone Forum Opens

Monday September 8th

Anyways as you can see I have added a little chart to the top of the page it will give you detailed status on the forums progress so make sure to check that out often.

Forum Details:

We will NOT be using the old board we will be using IPB-Invision Power Board which is very similar to the old one, only much more powerful and faster, It has tons of built in add on's and can process requests in less than .5 seconds

NOTE: Board is a LONG way from being done I have tons of images to create and things to set up so that screen shot is merely a BETA

There will be multiple skins available built in for you to use here is the list

Fast Feet (Sonic Theme) (what's in the screen shot)
Fox Fury (Tails Them)
Red Alert (Knuckles Theme)
Dark Matter (Shadow Theme)
Pink Death (Amy Theme)
SSZ Default (Multiple Characters Very similar to fast feet)
Invision Power Board Default

Skins will all be around similar design only with different colors and images.

New features will include things such as built in shout boxes profile add on's faster speeds and much much more

NOTE: There will probably not be any big updates on the site for a while until the forum is done the only thing I plan to update very often is the forum chart so keep an eye on that, I am hoping to get some major work done this Sunday-Monday. That's all for now Fox Out!
 

#1 Our Newsletter system is changing we are moving to a new system so that our newsletter will now be HTML rather than plain text so make sure you subscribe to the new system because there will be no further updates sent to the old system.

#2 Sonic Speed Zone has now launched it's very own stream. What is a stream you ask? A Stream is a place for YouTube users where you can upload videos, watch, rate and chat with each other in real time, so it's sort of a chat room as well. So make sure you join and start adding videos to it. NOTE: you need a YouTube account to access it, if you don't have one, get one they are free, you can get to the stream either in the videos section or right in the menu under the Sonic Section


#3 I have done a few bug fixes on a few pages and edited the home page slightly our flash news banner will now be the header replacing the image (one less image to download) I will have some more updates about this forum stuff later. Well that's all for now Fox Out!

As you have probably seen in the flash banner we now have a better poll system with a new poll on it, ( we will have better polls shortly) and also that it has been decided:

We will have a new Forum I plan to start construction this Fall (Septemberish)  and finish late that month depending on things.

#1 general updates, first of all for you who know what a favicon is, I have now installed one on every page (icon that appears next to your address bar). Second the stories page has been updated so that the stories will open up on their own page rather than having to download them, next as you can well see I have changed the banner yet again.

#3 Home page update, as I said I was going to modify the home page again so there's a few new images and the shout box is now located on the bottom of the page

#4 Well first of all you may have noticed the site was down, then back up with some pages, then down, then half down, and now fully working, well we were having server problems and things had to be put on the back up for the time being and I had to set up the FTP stuff again until the server started working, but now everything is OK and the server is back up so all pages on the site should be fully operational IF A PAGE IS DOWN PLEASE CONTACT ME by clicking my avatar (picture) above.

Next update I am hoping to have a music video and who know what else, the following week you can expect to see the Sonic Underground episodes available. That's all for now Fox Out!

#2 Other stuff, as you can see I made a slight modification to the home page, the latest update on top followed by the shout box and the older updates, I will be changing it around just a bit more in the next update.

Well that's all for this week I have nothing special planed for next week other than maybe a sprite comic and a few home page modifications, NOTE: I am currently uploading Sonic Underground Episodes so expect those in a few weeks and maybe even a music video to. FOX OUT!

Major graphic updates, as you can see there is a new banner, as well as the menu has been changed to light up right away when you mouse over it rather than having a delay to load, the home page and affiliates have been changed around and some backgrounds have been changed, you will also notice on long pages they now have there own scroll box to save you the trouble of scrolling all over the site to get back to the menu.

2. General updates, some pages have been cleaned up and modified with scroll boxes as you will see, and we have a new poll (to the right now)

3. Lastly a few new things around the site like NEW AFFILIATE: Sonic PlanetYou have questions they got Sonic, so make sure you check them out. Also now on the video section have have added Fox Lightning's Chanel where you can
