Transfers from Faro Airport to Club Albufeira

If you are looking at a website such as http://www.low-cost-transfers.com/faro-airport/index.php
then please keep in mind that the transfer destination is to either the New town Albufeira or Old Town Albufeira ,which will leave you some way to go to reach the Club Albufeira holiday complex.
Most apartment owners on the Club Albufeira can arrange a transfer from Faro airport DIRECT TO YOUR HOLIDAY APARTMENT and in most cases assistance with your luggage to the apartment will be given.

Perhaps you are choosing the option of getting a taxi at the airport? This can lead to a problem if your taxi driver drops you off at the entrance to Club Albufeira with all your luggage if the apartment that you are staying in is still some distance away from the entrance!

Some apartments are situated high up on the complex and the last thing you need is to have to lug your luggage up steep inclines.

The prices charged for the convenience of being taken directly to your holiday apartment are somewhat higher than the "low-cost-transfer" operators and even the taxis but as always you get what you pay for.

Currently prices for this owner traansfer service is Euro 40 for a one way transfer for up to 4 persons and Euro 50 for 5-7 persons. Car seats can be arranged for infants.
An owner transfer can be arranged via the Albufeira-Rentals website.
You will see that in December, average temperatures range between 9ºC and 16ºC. Weather can be clear but parky. The Algarve coast faces the Atlantic not the Med and so is open to Atlantic vagaries.

Flying into Lisbon will require a taxi to Gare Oriente train/coach station (ten minutes ride) and then either a train to Albufeira Station (actually 8kms from Albufeira) or a Renex Coach to Albufeira center.
You should allow at least five hours for this transit.

The Algarve, in Southern Portugal, with its year-round sunshine, miles of golden sand beaches, and picturesque villages, has become one of Europe’s most popular golfing destinations. But while there are many courses suiting all abilities, the Algarve is also perfect for non golfers, especially the eastern region around Tavira, with its stunning nature walks. At the other end of the scale, resorts such as Vilamoura and Vale do Lobo are mega destinations with all the golfing and sporting options you could want. Then, in Western Algarve, around the bustling holiday destination of Albufeira, you can holiday 24/7, combining championship golf with a hectic nightlife.

Western Algarve golf breaks

Besides bustling Albufeira, there is the charming old town of Lagos, set on one of the largest bays in the Algarve. Its 17th-century fort stands at the harbour entrance and a new marina with rows of excellent restaurants and bars draws the crowds. Alvor, an old port at the mouth of the Rio Alvor, has many ......

The PGA EuroPro Tour will play one of Europe’s finest courses when the Oceânico Golf resort in the Algarve hosts the tour in July.
The world’s best young golfers will face two tough courses in three days – the Oceânico Victoria and the Oceânico Millennium. The Oceânico Victoria Golf Club course is Portugal’s premier golf venue, designed by Arnold Palmer and for the second year running hosting the PGA European Tour Portugal Masters in October, with Steve Webster winning the inaugural event in 2007. The last time the PGA EuroPro Tour had an event in Portugal, Adam Frayne took the Oceânico International Open at the Morgado Golf Club in May 2006.
The new venue on the Tour also has a new Pro–Am format similar to the Dunhill Links, with details to be confirmed. There will be 200 professional slots.
Danny Nickless, operations manager of the PGA EuroPro Tour said: "We are absolutely delighted that Oceânico will be supporting the PGA EuroPro Tour yet again in 2008. Oceânico are amazing supporters of not just the Tour but golf in general. Having Vilamoura on our schedule really does .....

They have purchased their apartments not only as a holiday home but also as an investment, offering their apartments for rental for the majority of the year.

To ensure the smooth running of the rentals to holiday-makers, the owners pay for an on-site manager and an annual fee to the Club Albufeira for the upkeep of the pools, gardens and any repairs necessary to the apartments. Additionally the owners are required to pay for the utilities: -electric, water, waste disposal and cleaning of the apartments. The weekly rental prices quoted to holiday guests are fully inclusive of all such costs and is solely for the hire of the apartment itself.

When 6 guests share the cost of an apartment this represents a considerable saving when compared to paying ......
